Sarah has 17 years experience in Organisational Psychology and the wider HR domain and has a long track record of project managing, designing, and delivering robust IO solutions for client organisations.  Sarah has a particular interest in working alongside clients to link their recruitment, development, and training programmes with strategic goals and measuring these for success.

While based in Wellington, Sarah has an extensive network of contacts in both the Wellington and Auckland market and uses these to client advantage.  A co-owner of OPRA, Sarah has had a hand in most aspects of the business and is immensely proud of being associated with a truly global business.

Sarah holds a PhD in Management from Victoria University and a Master of Arts (hons) in I/O psychology from Massey University.  Sarah’s doctorial research focused on the socialisation of new employees to the workforce, and in particular, she explored the sorts of things an employer should consider for expediting this process.  Feel free to contact Sarah directly on This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Outside work, Sarah loves spending time in the kitchen (a master chef in her own mind!) and has a formidable collection of cookbooks, food magazines, and recipes gathered the world over.  An avid reader, she always has a least 1 or 2 books on the go, and enjoys keeping fit by making the occasional walk through the Karori wildlife reserve and Wilton bush.  In June 2010, Sarah and her husband Dean are set to welcome the pitter patter of little feet into their lives and becoming first time parents.
