Ali has chosen to work in the field of I/O Psychology because she is passionate about helping people find practical and efficient solutions to the problems they face within their organisation. She also believes the tangible results achieved through working in this profession are incredibly rewarding.

Ali completed a Bachelor of Arts at the University of Canterbury and is currently finishing her Masters in I/O Psychology at the University of Canterbury. Working in Australia over two four month periods during her University degree, Ali worked for two vastly different organisations which both revealed different organisational issues and challenges. She was able to help one of these companies conduct job analysis on several positions and worked with the Director to help make improvements to their selection procedures.

Ali loves being active and enjoys being involved in any sport she has time for. She plays social basketball and netball once a week and enjoys swimming and walking each week too. Ali and her partner Chris are always on the lookout for new places to take their black Labrador puppy for walks; water is a must as she is a true water baby and loves to chase the ducks, though she is never successful in this endeavor! Ali has travelled extensively overseas and spent six months living in France whilst a teenager. Ali is now working on her French after spending another five weeks there earlier this year. Elle aime tous Francais!
